Welcoming children aged 0-6 and their families, the centre fosters play-based learning with a high adult-to-child ratio. Parents can stay on sessions, connecting with their children and other families. Families explore the community through visits to local schools, Flea Bay Penguin Project, Okains Bay Māori and Colonial Museum, Garden of Tane, and nearby beaches.
Guest-led activities include karate, beekeeping, music, and predator control. Located in the Sports Pavilion at the Recreation Ground, sessions run Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 am-1pm. Short-term visitors are warmly welcomed!
