Located in the deep waters of Lucas Bay, Akaroa Harbour, our salmon farm has been producing top-quality salmon since the 1980s. Founded by the Bates family, the farm is situated along the eastern South Island coastline where wild salmon naturally roam. We maintain low stocking densities and feed a low-energy diet, allowing the salmon to grow slowly and stay as lean as their wild counterparts. This sustainable approach ensures a premium product, rich in flavour and quality.
