The Church was built in 1886, and was at the heart of the Presbyterian community for generations. It was designed by John Whitelaw under Reverend D. McLennan, and replaced the earlier ‘Bon Accord’ church built in 1860. The hall, designed by G.H. Haylock, reflects Akaroa’s rich heritage, as his father was one of the town’s earliest English settlers.
Services held at 10am on the second and fourth Sunday of the month.
The Trinity Church Hall can be hired for events and activities. Email for enquiries.
