Visitor Notice – Akaroa Harbour Cruises & Boat Departures

If you’re visiting Akaroa over the coming weeks, please note that work has begun on the Main Wharf (our famous Blue Wharf).

As a result, most harbour cruises and boat departures are now operating from Drummond’s Wharf. Drummond’s Wharf is just a short walk from the Main Wharf, and operators will have signage in place to help guide you. Please allow a few extra minutes to find your departure point and check with your tour operator if you’re unsure where to go.
